Freshman Admission Requirements
Because our program is a direct admit program, you only need to complete one application for admission.

In order to be considered for the nursing program you must fill out an  and select nursing as your first choice major. After you submit your application for admission you must send your official high school transcripts (at least showing grades through junior year) and any standardized test scores available. We will accept ACT and/or SAT scores. Transcripts should be sent to admissions@aquinas.edu.

Those with a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher AND a 2.5 within all math and science courses will not need to submit an ACT or SAT score.

Those with below a 3.0 cumulative GPA must meet the following criteria:

• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 overall
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 within all math and science courses
• Minimum composite score of 1060 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT

Admission to the nursing program does not guarantee you a spot in the program. In order to secure a spot, (once you are admitted) you must submit your enrollment deposit. Incoming freshmen will be given spots on a first come, first serve basis.

Transfer Admission Requirements

In order to be considered for the nursing program you must fill out an and select nursing as your first choice major. After you submit your application for admission you must send official transcripts from all schools you鈥檝e attended, including your final official high school transcripts. (Your high school transcripts will not be considered in the admissions process. They are required in order to actually receive your financial aid and serve as proof of high school graduation.) Transcripts should be sent to admissions@aquinas.edu.

• Minimum cumulative college GPA of 3.0 is preferred
• All science and math courses must be completed within the last seven years and with a minimum grade of 鈥淐.鈥�

Transfer students are allowed to transfer in a maximum of 63 community college credits or 90 credits from a combination of community college and four-year college credits. If you are considering transferring to our nursing program, please contact us for specific information. Transfer students are required to attend the program full time.
